Ingredients

  • 4 Potatoes

  • Butter 50 Grams

  • Mozzarella or Parmesan Cheese 100 Grams

  • Corn starch 4 Tbsp

  • Cheddar Cheese 40 Grams

  • Garlic Cloves 4

  • Spices:
  • Red Chili Flakes (Half Tsp)

  • Salt (a pinch)

Process of Making:

Step 1- Making Crispy Potato Balls.

  • In this step grate 4 potatoes and bring them into a bowl.
  • Add cold water and wash to remove the dirt from it.
  • Once the potatoes are washed drain the water and put them in a dry bowl.
  • Add 4 Tbsp of cornstarch and mix it until starch and potatoes are mixed well together.
  • Once the ingredients are mixed rest it for 10 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes grab a small chunk of potatoes and squeeze them firmly to make a perfect ball.
  • Follow the same process and make the balls.
  • Set them aside and prepare the sauce.
  • Step 2- Making Sauce:
  • Add butter to the frying pan and let it dissolve.
  • Once the butter is dissolved add chopped garlic cloves and sauté it for 3 minutes.
  • After 2 minutes add 1 Tbsp of Corn starch and mix it for 3 minutes.
  • Once the corn starch is mixed well add milk into it and cook it for 3 more minutes.
  • After 3 minutes add salt to it and give it a mix.
  • Then add Mozzarella or Parmesan Cheese and mix it until it is dissolved.
  • Once the cheese is dissolved add Cheddar Cheese and again mix it until it gets dissolved and the sauce becomes thick.
  • Once the sauce becomes thick and stretchy set it aside and fry the potato balls.
  • Step 3 – Frying Potato Balls:
  • Add 1 cup of vegetable oil to the frying pan. (You can add 2 cups it’s totally fine.)
  • Let the oil heat.
  • Once the oil is heated add Crispy Potato Balls one by one and fry on medium heat to get the perfect golden-brown color.
  • Keep changing sides until it gets the Golden-Brown Color.
  • Once it gets the color remove it from the frying pan to the plate and your Crispy Potato Balls are ready to serve.
