Chicken Karahi is a Famous dish in Pakistan. You can make it in many ways, every part of the country has different style of making but Lahore is considered as the food hub of Pakistan and it has it’s own ways of cooking.

Ingredients

  • Chicken 900 Grams

  • Onions 2 Medium Sized or 150 Grams

  • Tomatoes 4 Medium or 250 Grams

  • 2 Tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste

  • 2 Big Green Chilis

  • 1 Cup Yogurt

  • Species:
  • 1 and a half Tablespoons of Red Chili Powder

  • 2 Teaspoon Salt

  • 1 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder

  • 2 teaspoons cumin Powder

  • 1 Teaspoon Coriander Powder

Process of Cooking:

  • Add 150 grams of oil into the pot once the oil is heated add onions into the pot and stir fry onions for five minutes.
  • After frying onions add chicken to onions and fry them together for 10 minutes.
  • Once the chicken and onion are fried together add species to the chicken and mix it well until the species and chicken are mixed well together.
  • Add half-cut tomatoes to the pot and cover it for 10 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes peel Tomatoes and mash them to make some gravy.
  • Once the mashing is done add species mix them well and cover them for further 10 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes add 2 big-sized Green Chilis give mix then add 150 grams of Butter and let it melt along with the Chicken give it a gentle mix and your Restaurant Chicken Karahi is ready to serve.
